winds, no electric and parties!!

So this Sunday was a crazy day in the weather world. We had up to 65 mph winds, with no rain, no thunder or anything.  It was actually pretty fun.  We were at some friends and watched all the kids in the neighborhood run around, play and almost get blown away.  But during the storm we didnt think so much about the monumental damage that would follow.  We did not have electric for a few days and tons of trees, light posts, gas signs, electric lines fell down.  Here is a picture of a huge tree that fell on someones house. I felt so bad for them!! But not too bad not to take a pic! hehe. Since all of the food was going bad, the guys had a "eat all the food in the house party" where we grilled everything and hung out.  We played mafia by the campfire which was really fun.

Having all the crazy weather is one of my favorite things about living in the midwest (this is probaby because I do not own a house or property that can be damaged).  Sundays weather almost seemed like a symbolism for what the Lord is doing here in Cincinnati. It seems as though the Spirit is on the move and peoples lives are being "wrecked" then transformed.  Pretty exciting stuff!!
