Deliverance

Last night was an amazing night at group. The topic we have been discussing is deliverance, mostly over bondage of sexual sin. The girls went downstairs in the basement and the guys prayed upstairs.

Basically deliverance prayer is a prayer of confession, forgiveness and rebuking the enemy and any spirits that may have been keeping people in bondage of their sin. By doing this, we are not allowing the enemy to have any foothold in peoples lives. Some ways people can be in bondage sexually is from generational sin, being molested or raped, or by choosing to involve oneself in sexual sin.

While the girls were praying in the basement it sounded like all of the guys were upstairs running around and knocking over furniture. Pots and pans were banging, chairs were moving, and it sounded like someone was running around above us. After both the guys and girls were done praying we went up and asked the guys what they were doing making so much noise. All of the guys tell us that they were just praying quietly in a circle and no one even moved at all. We believe that the noises we heard were spirits fleeing from the people getting prayer. It was incredible to experience a glimpse of how frantic those demons were when they heard the name of JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!!! How powerful is our God??? :)
